En 2001, elle débute son instruction en danse orientale avec Denise Enan. Elle participe à des ateliers avec des professeurs célèbres tel que Luna, Faten Salama and Hadia.
Johara enseigne la danse orientale à l'Oasis de la danse.
Une interprète attirante et fluide, elle est membre des Banaat al Waha, un groupe coopératif dans la region de la capitale nationale, ainsi qu'un groupe bien connu, la troupe égyptienne Enan, et se produit en spectacle lors de mariage ou d'occasion spéciale.

Johara began performing as an advanced student with the professional troupe Le groupe dance-lab. She was was a jazz teacher with the City of Gatineau and the Ottawa Dance Centre.
In 2001, she started Belly dancing with Denise Enan. She has taken workshops with well-known instructors such as Luna, Faten Salama and Hadia.
Johara teaches Bellydance at Dance Oasis.
An alluring and fluid performer, she is a member of the Banaat al Waha Oriental Dance collective in the National Capital Region, as well as the celebrated folkloric dance group, the Enan Egyptian Troupe, and performs professionally at weddings and special occasions.
